Welcome to Year 5!

We have an exciting year ahead of us engaging in many exciting topics, including Space, North America, Castles, which will inspire learning across our subjects of English, Science, History, Geography, Art and Design Technology.

Termly information about our topics and learning is shared in our Class Newsletters which you will find a copy of below.  If you have any questions, you can use Class Dojo to contact Mrs Ager or Mrs Wagner who will be happy to assist.  We will keep Class Dojo updated with photographs and information about our year together so please keep checking to see all of our activities.

We will have PE twice a week on Wednesdays and Fridays. A full school PE kit is required. Children can wear plain dark coloured bottoms for outside PE during the colder months.

We would like you to take advantage of our online learning platforms to assist with the key skills for Year 5, including Mathletics, Times Table Rockstars, Tackling Tables and Spelling Frame.  Please use any time you have at home to practise times tables and division facts; basic written calculations using addition, subtraction, mulitplication and division; spellings; and reading.  We always love to see pictures of things you have made and created at home too, so remember to share these with us on Class Dojo to earn extra points.
